After spending most of the season in the background, KylieJenner really took center stage in this week’s episode The Kardashiansas she and her sisters spoke about how beauty standards, the media and trolls have affected how they feel about themselves.
Jenner appeared Kourtney Kardashian home to help her start the new hour of glamour, with Khloe Kardashian already there when she arrived. As Kylie went about her sister’s makeup, Kourtney stressed the importance of feeling confident “even with your imperfections,” before sharing that she’s recently been reflecting on “the standards of beauty in today’s world.”
“I just feel like we have a lot of influence and what are we doing with our power?” Kylie asked, before expressing disappointment at how many young women are now “completely redacting” themselves on social media. Jenner admitted she “went through that phase too” and said she’s in a “better place” now.

In a confessional, Jenner said it’s “normal to be insecure,” before recalling how confident she was as a child. She added that while the media portrayed her as an “unsafe kid,” Kylie went on to say that “one of the biggest misconceptions” about her was that she “had to undergo so many surgeries to cover up my entire face.” change”. Calling that claim false, she said the only thing she’s ever done is get fillers – adding that all she wants is for “people to just love themselves”.
She went on to say that while she’s heard “all kinds of negative things and rumors that anyone could say about me” from her online haters, it’s only “made her stronger and more callous” over time. “I had the most confidence, I was chubby and I wore a skintight bodycon dress, there was no other way to put it. Society has given me insecurities,” she confessed. “The moment I was on TV, I was torn. I didn’t look like my sisters, so it’s not good enough. Though Kourtney said her sister was never “chubby,” Khloe insisted and said it was fine — before pulling out an old photo and commenting, “It’s like I’m wearing a fat suit.”
After Khloe wondered if she would ever have touched her nose if her mom hadn’t “talked” about it to Kris Jenner all the time growing up, Jenner then opened up about how her siblings influenced how she felt about herself by talking about her ears talked all the time when she was a child.

“I received it because everyone made fun of my ears and called me idiots.
