Lacey police search for man suspected in fatal shooting

Lacey detectives have identified Scott Matthew Brodrick, 42, as a suspect in the shooting that left a 43-year-old man dead.
LACEY, Wash. — The police are looking for a man they suspected of killing a 43-year-old Lacey resident.
On Monday, police arrived at the 5500 block of Chelan Lane SE shortly before 9 a.m. to report the shooting.
Lacey officers who arrived found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. According to Lacey police, doctors were at the scene but the man was dead.
Lacey detectives have identified Scott Matthew Brodrick, 42, as the man suspected in the shooting. He is described as being about 5 feet 11 tall and weighing 200 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
According to police, Brodrick is involved in a gray 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk, License WA #ASG-4385.
Lacey Police said Brodrick was armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should not approach but call 911 instead.
