A Lake Elsinore man was sentenced Thursday to 215 years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting a minor when he ran a “sex dungeon” in his garage, investigators said.
Morgan Delos Fowler, 32, pleaded guilty to 18 felonies, including 10 counts of rape and other sexual assault charges, in Riverside County Superior Court last month, following a plea agreement with Riverside County prosecutors.
Prior to the plea agreement, Fowler faced a total of nearly 60 indictments involving dozens of victims from 2007 to 2019.
“The sentence of 215 years and four months to life ensures that this serial sex offender will never again be able to exploit or bully anyone,” prosecutors said in a statement. “We hope that closing the case can bring closure to the many victims.”
Fowler was arrested by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 2019 after the agency received an anonymous tip about child sexual abuse material, Press-Enterprise reported. He has not been charged with creating or possessing any such material.
In a statement seeking increased bail for Fowler after his arrest, one MP wrote that he has “a sex dungeon in his garage with guns all over the house.”
“The suspect knows where all three victims live and has a history of being physically with them, leading them to fear for their safety,” the MP wrote.
