Lana Del Rey is planning a 10-date US tour this fall
Lana Del Rey, the got some virtual tongues This weekend, for wearing platform mules and white to a wedding that wasn’t hers, she seems to be making up for stunned fans by announcing a 10-day fall tour.
The “Summertime Sadness” singer will open the brief performance on September 14 in Franklin, Tennessee. She will travel through eight states before concluding her tour in Charleston, West Virginia on October 5th. Tickets are still on sale this Friday, concert promoter Live Nation announced Monday.
The tour will end in Texas, Alabama, Florida and Pennsylvania, among other places, but no West Coast dates have been announced despite Del Rey’s latest California-inspired album. The musician is also scheduled to perform at the All Things Go music festival in Columbia, Maryland on October 1.
The Grammy-nominated artist released her ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd., in March. Most recently she has been on stage at festivals and this summer has performed at Outside Lands, Lollapalooza and Glastonbury as well as abroad in Mexico and across Europe. Del Rey also made headlines last month after part-time working as a waiter at a waffle house in Alabama.
The one-of-a-kind artist once again piqued fan curiosity with her wedding guest attire in New Jersey this weekend, where she attended the star-studded wedding of music producer Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley. (Del Rey has collaborated with Antonoff on several projects, including the song “Margaret,” which features his band Bleachers.)
The “Young and Beautiful” singer got discovered strolling through the wedding venue in a white and pink mini dress and a white sweater. And some observers were quick to criticize the fashion choices. page six explained that Del Rey “was convicted of wearing a white dress.” [and] Crocs,” but according to the joking X user the outlet quoted, their assessment turned out to be overblown.

Others were quick to point out that Del Rey’s “white dress” actually featured pink floral embellishments, and still others argued that the singer wore comfortable shoes to hit the dance floor.
