Lance Reddick’s wife breaks silence on husband’s death

The “John Wick” actor died on Friday morning at the age of 60.

WASHINGTON – Lance Reddick’s wife has broken her silence following the sudden death of her husband.

Stephanie Reddick posted on her late husband’s Instagram account on Saturday and thanked fans for their “outrageous” support. The “John Wick” actor died of natural causes on Friday morning at the age of 60.

“Lance left us too soon. Thank you for all the love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the past day,” Stephanie wrote. “I saw your messages and can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have them.”

In memory of her late husband, the actor’s wife shared many pictures. She even attached a photo of Commander Zavala, who Reddick voiced in the video game “Destiny”.

“And to the thousands of Destiny players who played in memory of Lance, thank you. Lance loves you as much as he loves the game,” she added.

Stephanie said she can donate to momcares.org in Baltimore, Maryland, Reddick’s hometown.

Reddick’s death occurred just days before the movie “John Wick: Chapter 4” hit theaters in which he starred.

“John Wick – Chapter Four” will be dedicated to Reddick, director Chad Stahelski and star Keanu Reeves said in a statement that they were “deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss.”

The latest installment in the series features Reddick reprising his role as Charon, the Continental Hotel’s versatile concierge.

His upcoming projects include remakes of 20th Century’s “White Men Can’t Jump” and “Shirley,” the Netflix biopic about former congresswoman Shirley Chisholm. He’s also slated to appear in the “John Wick” spin-off “Ballerina,” as well as “The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial.”

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Reddick, and children, Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick.
