Lauren Goodger returns to reality TV to great acclaim following the heartbreak and trauma of the Towie legend
FAIR to say, the last 12 months have been a tough one for Lauren Goodger.
But now the former Towie star, 36, is ready for a fresh start and a return to reality TV.

A little over a year ago, Lauren tragically lost her second child, Lorena.
Shortly after, her now-ex-boyfriend, Charles Drury, was arrested and accused of assaulting her – which he denies.
But determined to move on with her life, the mother-of-one is now considering returning to her reality TV roots.
Lauren rose to fame in 2010 as one of the original actresses on The Only Way Is Essex.
During her time on the show, viewers saw her on-off romance with her former fiancé, Mark Wright.
But now it seems the popular TV star is keen on giving television another try and is reportedly in “talks with two big reality TV shows.”
A source told New Magazine, “Both shows have huge audiences and iconic status.”
“It would be a big TV comeback for Lauren.
“She feels well positioned and is ready to take on new challenges after a difficult year.”
The insider continued, “Lauren isn’t the same person that people saw on Towie — she’s a mom now and she’s changed a lot.”
“It’s really obvious to the producers that she’s at a completely different stage in her life and she’s looking forward to showing a new Lauren.”
“A woman who had different priorities than in her twenties.”
Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend appeared in court last month, where he denied assaulting her after that of their baby daughter Burial.
Charles Drury, 25, is accused of assaulting Lauren on August 4, 2022 – the day after the tragic Lorena’s funeral.
He is also said to have compulsorily controlled the reality star for two years, from 2020 to 2022.
Drury appeared in Snaresbrook Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to ABH and engaging in controlling/coercive behavior.
The contractor was granted an unconditional bond.
March 18 was set as the preliminary hearing date next Year.
Drury is accused of coercion and control behavior between August 1, 2020 and August 5, 2022.
The indictment alleges that he engaged in “controlling or compulsive behavior that had serious effects on her.”
It is also said to have “caused”. Lauren Goodger fearing violence would be used against her on at least two occasions, even though he knew or should have known that the behavior would have a “serious effect” on her.
He is accused of assaulting and actually physically injuring Lauren on August 4, 2022.
Baby Lorena tragically died on July 8 last year after being born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.
The couple are still together to ensure co-parenting of their 23-month-old daughter Larose.
Earlier this month, Lauren admitted she feels like she’s missing “a man” in her life.
Lauren said: “I want to be in a happy, loving relationship – I deserve it. I want another baby, I do, I want to be in love, I want to be happy again.”
“I’m missing that. I’m really missing a man in my life – I’ve always had a boyfriend – and because my family relationship is really up and down.”
The couple dated for two years after announcing on Instagram in October 2020 that they were together.
They split in 2022, four months after welcoming Larose into the world.
Lauren suffered even more heartache when her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean was killed in an accident horror Car crash while driving under the alcohol limit almost three times in the last year.
The 33-year-old was on cocaine when his Mercedes E-Class went off the road and landed upside down in Turkey last year.
