League of Legends to slow down pace of game with increased durability

No secret for any League of Legends players the game can feel a bit fast right now. But League of Legends Developer Riot Games is singing a sweet tune to weak champions, as it released a list of changes aimed at slowing down the game’s tempo. Increased durability will take effect on each champion in League of Legends. This means that with these changes, you will hopefully feel a little less helpless when being controlled by an ADC or mage assassin. Unfortunately, this means that the killer’s power supply might have to work a little harder.

Increased durability will reduce the amount of damage taken in League of Legends, which players noted as being a bit too tall. Instead of going through each champion and reducing damage individually, all champions will instead receive increased base health, more health per level, more armor per level, and more magic resistance per level. System mechanics like Baron Nashor, Turret, and energy regeneration are being upgraded, with the former two doing more damage to players.

Feel stronger

Riot wrote that it agreed with the general player consensus that champion damage was too high. In the developer post, Riot wrote: “while tons of damage can be fun and exciting, we believe increasing the defense stats of champions will be beneficial for allowing Players show off their skills by giving them plenty of chances to counterattack and survive their peak moments. . The developer also mentioned that killing a weak champion is still viable, but will generally require more effort and skill.

These changes will drop in Patch 12.10 in the champion durability update. You can check the full post details on the official news post here. Riot will be watching these changes carefully, as they want to avoid a meta of undefeatable tanks and outmoded high damage champions.
