Leonardo DiCaprio uses a diplomat’s motor to avoid London traffic while befriending an Ivory Coast dignitary

LEONARDO DiCaprio is literally living in the fast lane.
The Sun can exclusively reveal the cheeky Titanic actor has been using a diplomatic engine to cruise around London in recent weeks to expedite his travels around the capital.
Instead of facing the stress of endless traffic, Leo can zip around the city in a diplomat’s vehicle, ignoring the usual speed rules that restrict the rest of us.
While the cars are still technically subject to British law, they are often ignored by police officers in traffic offenses and have drivers protected from prosecution by diplomatic immunity.
And Leo had a great time after being driven around in an £80,000 Range Rover owned by an Ivory Coast diplomat.
A source said: “It’s no secret that Leo has friends in high places, but even by his standards the contacts are good.
“He was seen speeding around central London in a bright blue Range Rover with blacked-out windows that belonged to a diplomat from Ivory Coast in West Africa.
“All diplomatic cars are clearly identifiable by their license plates and in most cases the person behind the wheel enjoys diplomatic immunity, so it is not a problem to drive too fast or run a red light from time to time.”
“He even had people drop him off and picked him up at Chiltern Firehouse, where he likes to hang out in the capital.”
For some, that’s okay, right?
In recent months, Leo has been spotted out and about in London, in between his very swanky mega-yacht vacations in the Mediterranean this summer.
The Hollywood star has embarked on an impressive number of trips over the past three months – hitting 17 destinations in just three months.
In addition to spending time with his pal, Spider-Man actor Tobey Maguire in Cannes, France, he also spent time with his parents on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and enjoyed time on a fancy boat with Love Island’s Arabella Chi in Ibiza.
