Two other old guys and I met for a summer game of round robin basketball a few years ago. I would compete against Al; Whoever made a basket scored Jay and so on. Al and I never expected to do a good deed that day.

Jay played professional basketball in the 1960s. He was only 6 feet tall, but he could dive. Now, at 70, he could not dive, run, bend, or jump more than a few inches. He had recently undergone a double hip replacement.
