Lewis Capaldi surprised students at a former school with a bizarre-looking statue

SINGER Lewis Capaldi poses next to a statue meant to look like him.
The 26-year-old was presented with the artwork yesterday at his former school on the occasion of the release of his second album.
With bulging eyes and thin, alien fingers, the bronze sculpture bore little resemblance to the Forget Me star.
Students and teachers spent six months designing their tribute at St Kentigern’s Academy in West Lothian, Glasgow.
Meanwhile, Lewis recently leaked that he and One Direction’s Niall Horan had secretly entered the studio together to record a track for his just-released sophomore album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent.
According to Lewis, however, the song fell short of the standards he demanded, so he dropped it altogether.
And in another dig at his pal, Lewis said he’d rather record with Harry Styles.
Speaking about who he’d like to get in the studio with, Lewis said, “I’d love to work with Paolo Nutini. he is my dream He’s an elusive man. He’ll just disappear for seven years. So I try to get and pin him. . . he is slippery.
“He’s greased himself up and I chase him around the bedroom but he keeps escaping.
“If he’s ready for it, I would do it tomorrow.
“Niall would be one, of course. We wrote a song and it wasn’t good. Yes, it was fucking shit. He wrote most of it.”
Lewis added of Niall’s former bandmates: “Obviously I’m a huge Harry Styles fan. He really is like a successful singer.
“Probably the tallest thing in the world right now and he’s super sexy as hell.”
