Lil Uzi Vert describes her stay in rehab

Lil Uzi Vert spoke about their time in rehab and says they are grateful to Roc Nation for supporting them when they were down.

“I’m fortunate to have people in my life who genuinely care about me and my well-being. In particular, Desiree Perez (CEO and co-founder of Roc Nation) who helped me get into this program. I didn’t want to do it, but I had to do it — and I can now say it was a great thing,” he said in an interview with 032c Magazine.

They continued, “I’ve been in rehab for seven months. The first month and a half was tough, but after that it was easy because the people there became my family. You have shown me so many different options and ways of dealing with life. We had a lot of group discussions and wrote a lot on whiteboards. I was so sure it wouldn’t work, but surprisingly it’s quite effective.”
