Lily Allen says her father called the police after she lost her virginity while on family vacation

During an appearance on a recent episode of Alan Carrs Life is a beach On the podcast, the 38-year-old singer recalled visiting Brazil with her father Keith and brother Alfie and revealed that her father called the police after she didn’t come home one night because she was dating a man .

The story came about when Carr asked Allen if she’d ever had a “holiday romance” or “affair.”

“Yes, I lost my virginity to a guy named Fernando in Brazil when I was about 12,” she shared, then added with a laugh. “No, I’m joking.”

“You lost your virginity to Fernando?” Carr asked, to which Allen confirmed, “A guy named Fernando, yeah,” before noting that she “never spoke to him again.”

The Smile singer then casually added that she “actually disappeared.”

“I went to his hotel room, I was on vacation with my father and my brother and of course I didn’t come back to my room,” she recalls.

Allen went on to reveal how her famous dad reacted when he found out his daughter wasn’t coming home.

“I kind of slept in the next morning, and when I woke up the next day there were police all over the hotel,” she said, laughing. “They were literally combing the beach wearing t-shirts [asking]”Did she wear that?” People thought I drowned.

“I couldn’t bring myself to say, ‘No, I was about to lose my virginity,'” she continued, adding with a laugh, “It was all a bit traumatic. After that I didn’t have sex for a while.”

In her 2018 memoir Exactly my thoughtseveryone claimed she had had sex with one of her father’s famous friends when she was 14, apparently after her experience in Brazil.
