Lisa Rinna says she was ‘threatened’ ahead of ‘RHOBH’ reunion

Weeks after opening up about the racist cyberbullying attacks on her co-star Garcelle Beauvais’ teenage son, Jax, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna says she’s being attacked by haters.

“I’ve been threatened over the last 4 months by ‘people’ who basically were trying to scare me, trying to ruin my credibility, trying to call me a liar, creating things that are untrue and don’t exist, But, you know what? Today we’re going to sit down and talk about everything,” she captioned a selfie posted to her Instagram story on Friday. “I will tell my truth. And yes, you better believe I’ll talk about everything.”

While Rinna didn’t specifically explain what led to her dramatic post, the “Days of Our Lives” actress shared her message hours before meeting up with her housewives to film the “RHOBH” reunion on Friday.

Just prior to this Instagram Story, Rinna shared a screenshot of text messages from co-star Kathy Hilton. Users who zoom in on the screenshot can see that Hilton’s texts were sent in January, around the same time the cast of the Bravo reality series left for a trip to Aspen. As usual, there was drama on this trip, which Wednesday’s episode of “Real Housewives” delved into.

“Please don’t say anything we discussed. Otherwise, there will be a huge scene that everyone will get sucked into. No bueano,” said Hilton in the first text message.

“Please, it goes further than you want to know. Silence is golden. I’m silent,” says Hilton’s second text.

Rinna’s Instagram Story also included a reply from a follower who said, “Oop, in Italy we have a word for it which is omertà and it’s basically a mafia thing,” followed by a shrug emoji.

“It’s a threat for sure!” Rinna captioned the story, along with a sticker with an emoji holding an Italian flag.

Rinna’s latest tension with Hilton has yet to show itself in the upcoming episodes, but taking to Instagram, Andy Cohen teased the upcoming reunion.

“We already have a bombshell, I have to say,” the Bravo personality said on her Instagram story. “A mystery has been solved I didn’t even know existed.”

While fans are eager to know what drama is brewing for the housewives, Cohen said on Instagram, “It’s going to be good.”

In August, Rinna was among the “RHOBH” stars who expressed their support for Beauvais and her son, who said in a statement that “middle-aged women [spammed] me with racist and rude comments about my family. Hilton, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke and Dorit Kemsley also showed solidarity on social media.

Her co-star Diana Jenkins was blamed for the news, but on Thursday Jenkins filed a lawsuit against anonymous “bots” she claims were behind the inappropriate comments.

“Anyone who sends racist and threatening messages to a 14-year-old is morally bankrupt,” the lawsuit states. “But the defendant was not content with assaulting an innocent child. The defendant ensured that the profile and content of the postings would lead to the conclusion that Ms. Jenkins was the one who bought the bots used in the attack. This behavior also belongs in the realm of moral bankruptcy.”

The messages repeatedly urged Beauvais to “leave Diana alone.”
