Little People, Big World (LPBW) Spoilers: Matt Roloff Shares Huge Update on the Farm, Reveals Its Status

There was a lot of drama in the Little People, Big World Roloff family. It all comes down to the fact that Matt Roloff wants to sell the farm and has refused to sell it to one of his children. It looks like his last post on Instagram really shook his family, and now there’s another argument about what happens to the farm as they enter the busiest time of year.

Small people, big world: queuing on the farm

In Matt’s latest post, he shared with his fans that he was preparing to hire additional farm help. He mentioned that he needs “hardworking” staff for the farm now that it’s pumpkin season. A source close to the family told The Sun: “Matt is hiring new workers for the farm so he can focus a little more on himself and finish the new house on the farm. He thinks a few extra hands would be ideal. Matt insists he’s not replacing his sons, he’s just making sure everything gets done on the farm.”

Matt also had a live session on his Instagram account and some fans asked him if the farm was sold yet. He pointed out: “There are some things in the works, some deals in the pipeline. Nothing’s done until it’s done, right?” When Matt put the farm up for sale in May, he posted it on his Instagram, and it’s clear from that post that he once again blamed his sons for the farm’s troubles .

The first post read: “The BAD news is, as you can imagine, how difficult it has been for me to put even 16 of the 108 acre Roloff farm up for sale. “My greatest hope was that the entire Roloff Farms estate would remain in our family for generations to come.”

He continued, “Keeping that dream alive at this point was just not intentional. Unfortunately, the farm Roloff Farm cannot legally be divided into several plots. My twins decided not to consider collaborating on a potential joint sale.

Both (along with their growing families) had moved on to other interests and investments…. and although both Amy and I have offered a sizable family discount and “equity gift”…(and I still owe Amy a wad of money)…they individually decided that the timing wasn’t right for them to buy any part of the court at that time.

Based on turning the big 60 in my cranky old body, the ongoing maintenance/requirements of the farm – the difficult decision was made so I could take steps toward my retirement goals.
The GOOD news… you never know what the future holds for the “93” unexplored and pristine acres that remain in the Roloff family for all to enjoy!”

At the moment Jacob Roloff is the only child working on the farm and there are rumors that he and his wife Isabel Roloff could move to the farm.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on Roloff Farm and see if the sale goes ahead any time soon.
