‘Love at First Sight’ has Netflix viewers sobbing as fans heap praise on the latest No. 1 film

Netflix viewers have heaped praise on the streaming service’s latest addition, the romantic comedy love at first sight.

With Haley Lu Richardson (Columbus) and Ben Hardy (Bohemian Rhapsody), the film has risen to the top of Netflix’s current film rankings.

In love at first sightRichardson and Hardy play two young people who meet at an airport. After meeting during their escape, they are separated when Richardson’s character leaves for her father’s wedding.

The film also stars Jameela Jamil, comedian Rob Delaney and actors Sally Phillips and Dexter Fletcher.

love at first sight was received positively by critics and audiences alike, achieving a score of 81 percent on review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.

On Twitter, viewers shared their enthusiasm for the film, with many claiming the same love at first sight brought her to tears.

“I just watched a movie on Netflix called “ love at first sight” wrote one person. “It was strange, uniquely built and beautiful. It made me smile, laugh and brought tears to my eyes. I believe in love at first sight.”

“Please watch love at first sight on Netflix PLEASE it’s super cute and I cried sooo much,” admitted another viewer.

love at first sight is now available to stream on Netflix.

Earlier this month, another Netflix original film took the top spot in the streamer’s film rankings: the Adam Sandler-produced coming-of-age comedy You’re not invited to my bat mitzvah like this.

The film, in which Sandler also starred alongside his daughters Sunny and Sadie Sandler and his wife Jackie Sandler, broke a new record Unpolished gemstones Actor.

After the film’s release, director Sammi Cohen defended himself You’re not invited to my bat mitzvah like this against criticism of his “Nepo Baby” casting.

The success of this film was followed by Netflix’s ambitious manga adaptation One piece took first place overall on the streaming platform, but gave up the position after just one week.
