LOVE Island star Samie Elishi has boldly revealed her surgical scar after a lump was removed from her neck.
This week, she shared a snap from her hospital bed just after her hemithyroidectomy surgery.

The 23-year-old Love Island favorite previously revealed she had undergone tests to determine if the lump in her throat is cancerous.
Samie was hospitalized for her surgery earlier this week.
Now she has shown on her Instagram page that she is on the road to recovery with a stunning selfie.
The London native posed in a nude tank top that flattered her tan.
She’s styled her brunette tresses in a relaxed straight style and opted for a natural makeup bar with thick mascara.
Samie’s scar was visible across her neck, but it appeared to be healing well.
She posted a lengthy caption about her procedure, which ended with the sentence, “My throat is still healing and this first picture was taken today after removing the bandage but I couldn’t be happier with how clean it is.”
She also revealed that she should have the test results to determine if her lump is cancerous in “the next two weeks.”
Her “Love Island” co-star and best friend Claudia Fogarty quickly wrote, “I love you, I’m so proud of you.”
Samie’s former Love Island boyfriend Tom Clare added a red love heart.
Meanwhile, Love Island graduate Demi Jones, who underwent a similar procedure herself after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer, added: “Proud of you!! You have, my girl.”
In addition to the lump, Samie also opened up this week that she would need half of her thyroid removed.
After the surgery, she took to Instagram to keep her fans updated.
Alongside the photo of her in a hospital bed, she wrote, “The surgery is complete folks!”
“I’m absolutely fine, no drainage was needed or anything. I am very lucky.”
“I’m on rest duty now but will be vlogging on the recovery. I get so many messages of support from you every day.”
“My awareness has led some of you to have this surgery and check for lumps in your neck. If I can help one person, that’s enough.”
Samie’s health concerns were discovered after ‘Love Island’ viewers pointed out her knot.
The former real estate agent coordinator decided to have it checked and underwent ongoing testing.
Samie finished third on the hit ITV dating show with Tom Clare, 23, behind winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins.
