LOVE Island’s Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde have clashed after he made a surprise move in a raunchy challenge.
On Thursday’s episode of the ITV2 show, Tyrique left Ella furious after he decided to kiss Jess Harding – despite putting her in the friend zone.

In scenes airing tonight, Tyrique chose to kiss Jess “when he wanted to have fun”.
He was then asked to kiss someone he had wanted on the cheek for a long time and he chose Ella but then kissed Jess on the lips.
Ella was visibly upset by his decision and later told Beach Hut, “Tyrique just needs to stop being so damn flirty.”
“Obviously, if you flirt with a girl, she’ll think you’re into her.”
Viewers also took to Twitter, sharing their confusion over his choice of islander.
One wrote: “The way Trique kissed Jess after only kissing Ella on the cheek after classifying Jess as just a friend???”
“Tyrique’s boyfriend shared with Jess and said he counted 100+ and said he was only here to fuck, then kissed Jess the next day and was still kissing Ella in bed all in 24 hours #LoveIsland,” commented a second viewer.
A third added: “The way Tyrique uses Jess to overcome Ella’s insecurities and Jess just allows herself to be taken advantage of… #loveisland.”
A fourth said: “Tyrique forgot he kissed Jess? Ella shows him Pepper.”
The outburst came just days after Tyrique made a “disgusting” confession in a challenge called Wary Tales.
The islanders were asked to guess who a particular statement was about before giving them a kiss to confirm their choice.
One of the statements asked, “Which boy stopped counting his body count when it reached 100?”
The girls all gasped, but what Tyrique had to say next sent them into complete shock.
When they asked him for an explanation, he said, “Yeah, obviously it’s not a flex.”
“I’ve been single my whole life, haven’t I? Pulling and sex is all I can really do.”
