‘Love Trip: Paris’ on Freeform is a fresh new take on reality dating

LOS ANGELES — Freeform takes its dating show to the streets and across the pond in Love Trip: Paris. The show brings four American women, Lacy, Caroline, Rose and Josielyn, to Paris to find love.

“We move to Paris and date French suitors who all date the same pool and they all live above us. And every week we have to kick some people out to bring others in,” Lacy told On The Red Carpet. “There’s a lot of drama and a lot of love and a lot of laughter.”

“Most laughs,” Caroline added.

In the presence of these four women, one could understand the laughter. Playing the show together has formed a new best friendship, which they say they’re most excited about.

“The universe has been really, really, really nice to bring us all together,” Caroline said. “It wouldn’t be what it is without the people.”

“We all really bonded a lot. I’m so thankful we got to do this together,” Josielyn said.

The ladies were all excited to see if they’d found love by the end of the show, but Josielyn gave us this tease: “It’s going to be really fun, really flirty, and really hot!”

“Dating in general is really difficult no matter where you are, and this experience has been amazing,” Rose said. “There was a moment when you could just put everything aside and focus on your connections with others and dating in a way that no one can experience.”

Nobody, that is, until we get a Season 2!

Watch two episodes of Love Trip: Paris tonight from 9 p.m. EST/8pm CST and then every Tuesday at 10pm. EST/9pm CST on Freeform.
