LUTON TOWN have sacked 10 players following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
Hatters captain Sonny Bradley is expected to leave the club later this month, as is midfielder Henri Lansbury.
Goalkeeper Harry Isted, who impressed on loan at Barnsley this season, will also leave.
Luton have also announced that Ethan Horvath, Cody Drameh and Marvelous Nakamba will return to their home clubs.
And several players from the club’s development team including Daniel Idiakhoa, Avan Jones, Conor Lawless, Josh Neufville, Callum Nicolson, Casey Pettit and Josh Williams will be sacked over the next few weeks.
With a number of first-team stars set to leave Kenilworth Road this month, the Hatters have revealed they are still trying to negotiate contract terms with four players.
Amari’i Bell and Luke Berry are expected to remain in Bedfordshire, as are Tom Lockyer and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu.
Ruddock made history last week by helping Luton gain promotion to the Premier League.
He was the first player to move from the National League to the Premier League with the same club.
The 29-year-old was part of Luton’s National League-winning side in 2013 and has been a key figure ever since.

After promotion to the EFL, Luton stayed in the second tier for four years and eventually managed promotion to the third tier after finishing runners-up in the 2017/18 season.
However, Luton didn’t stay in League One for long as they won the league in their very first season.
Meanwhile, Lockyer – who joined the club in 2020 – will soon be returning to football after collapsing in the Championship play-off final.
The defender was taken to a nearby hospital on a stretcher amid chilling scenes last week but Luton has since confirmed he will be available for pre-season training in July.
