Madison Cawthorn Could Very Well Lose His Primary on Tuesday

In 2020, Madison Cawthorn became one of the youngest people ever elected to the United States Congress. He is seen as a rising star in the GOP, a television presence for a Republican that has problems with youth.

The issue for Cawthorn, however, has been unceasingly controversial. The issues have become so persistent that Donald Trump is said to be thinking of withdrawing his endorsement. Cawthorn faces a preliminary showdown on Tuesday, and according to NBC News, he could lose.

The report gives a laundry list of Cawthorn’s failures:

“It was partly due to a striking pattern of unusual behavior: speeding without a valid driver’s license; take the gun through security at the airport; wearing lingerie in the photo; appeared in a video in which a mime worker grabs his crotch; nude exercise on top of another man in bed; accused the unnamed legislator of inhaling cocaine and invited him to an orgy; promote cryptocurrencies in ways that lead critics to claim that he has engaged in insider trading; and called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘a thug.’

Of course, the Republican legislator is in a very dark red area. And Republican voters have traditionally shown a willingness to turn a blind eye to the worst accusations.
