JET2 City Breaks City Breaks has also published deals from Edinburgh Airport to the Czech capital Prague for the winter 24/25. The service will operate from October 3, 2024 to March 27, 2025 with up to two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays.

Jet2 has also added thousands of additional seats to over ten of its most popular destinations in the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Croatia and Italy for Summer 24.

The destinations to which additional flights and holidays have been added (main weekly departures from Edinburgh Airport in brackets after the increases) are: Lanzarote (5), Malaga (5), Antalya (6), Bodrum (2), Larnaca (2) , Gran Canaria (3), Naples (2), Split (2), Tenerife (8), Verona (2) and Zante (3).

The expansion means that next summer Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 96 peak weekly flights to 32 destinations from Edinburgh Airport, with almost a million seats now for sale – 20 per cent more than this year.

And that’s not all. Since Winter Sun is also very popular, the holiday giant is expanding additional capacities to Lanzarote, Alicante, Antalya, Fuerteventura and Tenerife for winter 23/24 and to Alicante, Madeira, Fuerteventura and Tenerife for winter 24/25.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Today’s announcement represents a significant investment at Edinburgh Airport and means we are massively expanding our summer and winter programmes.”

“We look forward to our biggest Summer 24 ever from Edinburgh Airport.”

Kate Sherry, Chief Commercial Officer (Aero) at Edinburgh Airport, said: “It’s always good news when we expand choice for our passengers. So when we fly to more destinations with Jet2.com next summer, people can already start thinking about that special vacation.”
