Mama June Shannon marries Justin Stroud in Panama City
Mama June married Justin Stroud on a Panama City beach.
Their daughters Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon and Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell were all present at the ceremony. Mama June’s grandchildren Stella, Sylus and Bentley Efird also attended the wedding.
“This was the first time the family had been back together since 2014,” Mama June said via PEOPLE. “So it was really special to get married in a place where my family and I have so many memories!”
She added: “We wanted to have a small and very intimate wedding so we didn’t have any groomsmen or bridesmaids. All four of my girls took me to Justin’s and his mom walked him down the aisle.”
Last year, Mama June lost custody of her daughter Honey Boo Boo to her daughter Pumpkin. Mama June battled drug addiction for years and ended up in prison. Her daughter will soon be 17. June says she sees her all the time.
This is the second time the couple has tied the knot. The first time took place last year in a less glamorous setting.
