Man dies in ‘unexplained’ tragedy near Scots bridge as cops seal off road

An “unsolved” death inquiry has been launched after a man was found dead near a Scottish bridge.
In the early hours of the morning, rescue workers rushed to Victoria Bridge in Buckie.
Officers rushed to the scene of the accident in the West Church Street neighborhood after receiving reports of personal concerns.
Shortly after arriving, they discovered the body of a 31-year-old man.
The police cordoned off the area and cordoned off the road.
There has been a heavy police presence in the area since the tragic discovery.


A device from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was also on site.
The circumstances of the death are currently unclear.
However, officials have launched an investigation and consider the matter unresolved.
They added that there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
The inquiries are at an early stage.
“Police were called on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at approximately 1:20 a.m. to a report of a personal concern in the West Church Street area of Buckie.
“The emergency services were on site and a 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
“The death is being treated as unsolved, but there are no suspicious circumstances.”
