Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed on a busy Glasgow road while police cordoned off the road

A MAN has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in a late-night attack on a busy Glasgow street.
The 39-year-old was stabbed to death on Dumbarton Road in the west of the city at around ten o’clock last night.
Mercy crews rushed to the scene after being called to the scene of the serious attack.
The injured man was taken to the city’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Last night police officers were pictured searching the area with flashlights.
The area of the road around Stewartville Street was closed.
Police cordoned off the crime scene on the busy street with crime scene tape this morning.
Officers guarded the scene as the stabbing investigation began.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 10pm on Monday, November 20, police were called to a report of a 34-year-old man injured following a serious attack on Dumbarton Road, Stewartville Street, Partick had been.
“Officers attended the scene and the man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 3616 on November 20.”
