Man sparks furious debate after ‘yelling at tour guide for being too loud’

A MAN has sparked a heated debate after losing his temper with a London tour guide for being too loud.
Outraged local Matt posted a controversial apology note following the incident – which divided opinion.
In an image uploaded to Reddit, the angry note read: “To the tour guide, I apologize for losing my temper today.”
“I had to take an important call and the noise was very disturbing.
“Please note that people in the area often work stressful jobs.
“So could you please be quieter in the future?”
The half-hearted apology letter caught the attention of hundreds of Reddit users and sparked heated debate in the comments section.
Someone defended the tour guide, writing: “To Matt, I bet your office is quieter than the street, City of London.”
Another joked: “It’s nice that he apologized but trying to control the noise on the streets of London is a bit crazy. Move to the country, Matt.”
“Not apologizing makes you sound like a real guy, but you’re definitely better than that,” agreed a third.
Someone else wrote: “The author of this must have been a right-wing t**t.”
“Translation – I’m sorry I did it wrong but it was actually your fault and I would appreciate it if you didn’t provoke me in the future,” said another.
But others strongly supported Matt and criticized irritating tour guides. One wrote: “He could work from home. “I knew a man who lived right next to where one of the Ripper murders took place and was woken up every day by Jack on the Ripper tours.”
“He lost his temper and apologized, not many people would bother to apologize,” a second commented.
“Those London guides with the megaphones are honestly annoying,” agreed a third.
Another wrote: “Important call – maybe he found out someone died or was seriously ill. I’m pretty sure that would be stressful for most people.”
This comes as other social media posts have caused controversy.
A man shared on Reddit his surprise when he saw fellow travelers packing their lunch with food served at the hotel buffet.
The post caught the attention of thousands of people – who seemed divided over the guests’ actions.
Meanwhile, a woman took to the podium to express her shock after attending a wedding where a “close friend” of the bride wore a floor-length sparkly silver dress and a white fur shawl.
The Reddit user shared two snaps of the friend taken during the wedding as she revealed the bride’s reaction to the scandalous outfit.
And another woman shared a photo of the angry note she found on the door of her apartment block – but the complaint sparked debate.
