A MAN was taken away in handcuffs near where missing Alicia Navarro was found four years after she disappeared as a teenager.

A dramatic scene ensued in Havre when up to ten uniformed and undercover police officers crowded an apartment a few blocks from the police station where she showed up.

Glendale Police on Friday issued a search warrant in Montana near where Alicia Navarro was found Abc15 reports.

Four people are said to have been questioned by Glendale Police in connection with the case, but no one is currently in custody.

The Arizona teen went missing for four years before turning up at a local police station in Montana.

Investigators are currently investigating the case to find out exactly what happened to the teenager who disappeared in 2019.

The missing teenager’s mother, Jennifer Nunez, shared the story KNXV that she believed Navarro had been lured away after receiving a message from the teenager.

“I ran away. I will come back. I swear. I’m sorry,” the message said.

In a video, she spoke to the police and explained that nobody had harmed her. However, she has not revealed by whom she has been captured in recent years.

“We are happy and at the same time hopeful that we can offer this family a little more seclusion,” said department spokesman Jose Santiago during a press conference press conference On Wednesday.
