Man Utd stars train ahead of Carabao Cup clash but Marcus Rashford is nowhere to be seen after £700,000 car crash

MANCHESTER UNITED stars trained ahead of tomorrow’s Carabao Cup clash against Crystal Palace.
But Marcus Rashford was nowhere to be seen in his £700,000 Rolls-Royce after the accident.
Red Devils stars including Harry Maguire and Mason Mount were spotted training at Carrington on Sunday.
The duo is expected to return to action after recovering from injury.
And there could be a full debut for Sofyan Amrabat, with stars such as Raphael Varane, Alejandro Garnacho and Donny van de Beek also pushing for starts.
But Rashford was not among those training after his horrific car accident just hours after United’s 1-0 win over Burnley on Saturday.
The 25-year-old’s white Rolls-Royce was left a wreck after a collision with a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old grandmother.
She was badly shaken but uninjured, while Rashford was lucky to avoid injury.
His 2.5-tonne Rolls crashed into a traffic light camera pole in the accident, which occurred around midnight near United’s training base.
Police made no arrests after conducting breathalyzer tests on both drivers and did not call an ambulance because the driver did not want to go to the hospital.

Man United captain Bruno Fernandes checked on both Rashford and the pensioner.
And a club doctor examined Rashford before offering medical attention to the grandmother-of-five.
She was then taken home in a taxi paid for by United States officials.
Rashford later posted on Instagram: “3 points on track! I’m fine guys, thanks for the news.”
United commented: “Marcus is fine. It was an accidental collision. Luckily both were uninjured.”
A source told The Sun: “Both drivers were badly shaken.
“Marcus immediately checked that the woman was OK and exchanged details.”
Maintenance engineer Peter Laycock, 36, also said: “Heaps of police blocked the road and asked cars to turn around because there was debris all over the road.”
“I could see people wearing United clothes who must have come from the training ground.
“A lot of viewers said: ‘That’s Marcus Rashford’s car’.”
Another source added: “The woman was on her way home after babysitting her granddaughter. She’s a cautious and cautious driver, and that’s even more true when it comes to training – and that’s it.
“The impact caused the airbags to deploy. She was very, very shocked and confused. She’s not a football fan and had no idea who Marcus Rashford was.”
