Fati, 20, has made just 11 La Liga appearances this season and his agent Jorge Mendes is now keen to take him to the Premier League.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Wolves are ready to offer £26m plus midfield talisman Ruben Neves for Fati’s services.

The winger himself has yet to be convinced of a move to Molineux and would happily switch to a bigger club should he leave Barca.

It is claimed that Mendes, who has many clients in the books at Wolves, has started trying to convince Fati that a move to Molineux could be a good idea.

Mendes reportedly believes the Spain international could use Julen Lopetegui’s side as a springboard to settle in the Premier League before moving to a bigger club.

However, Fati is yet to be convinced and could still decide to stay at Barcelona.

However, Xavi is believed to have hinted Fati’s playing time will be severely limited should he not leave.

While the Barca boss would be keen to get Fati off the books, he is said not to be a huge fan of Neves.

Xavi would prefer to pursue other midfielders but understands Barcelona’s financial situation and would make it work should they sign Neves.

Fati has also aroused concrete interest at Manchester United.

But so far, the Red Devils have not been ready to meet Barcelona’s demands.

Fati emerged as a star at Barca as a 16-year-old before injuries slowed his progress.

In October 2021, he signed a six-year deal with a £1billion release clause.

The wing wizard has made 104 appearances for Barca in total, scoring 26 goals and providing nine assists.
