Barbie actress Margot Robbie said she is “absolutely” ready to join the actors’ strike if it takes place.

The prospect of a strike is becoming more likely after the union that represents Hollywood actors – the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) – recommended strike action after a negotiation period passed without an agreement.

Speaking to a reporter, the Australian actor said: “I’m fully supportive of all unions and I’m a member of the SAG so I would absolutely stand by that.”
