Mariah the scientist wants her “baby daddy” released!!
Mariah The Scientist called for Young Thug’s release from prison while he awaits the verdict of his trial.
“Now you know I have a husband. He locked up. Free my little daddy!” she said.
She then got the crowd chanting “Free Thug.”
Thugger and Mariah were first linked in 2021 after he split from longtime girlfriend Jerrika Karlae.
In June, Young Thug’s legal team filed a motion to dismiss the case due to the statute of limitations.
“In order to fulfill the crime of RICO conspiracy, prosecutors must establish beyond reasonable doubt that at least one (1) apparent act of furthering the conspiracy was committed within the statute of limitations. To satisfy the statute of limitations, the apparent act must have occurred within five (5) years after the indictment was filed with the clerk.”
The rapper faces RICO charges and a very long prison sentence if convicted.
