Married at First Sight, UK will soon return to our screens with a new group of hopeful singles looking for their romantic partner.
Based on the Danish series of the same name, Married at first sight is a reality series that brings couples together based on scientific and sociological factors.
A team of experts with backgrounds in psychology, psychotherapy, anthropology and theology combine their expertise to create partners for successful relationships.
In each series, approximately six contestants are selected from a pool of 200 applicants to agree to marry a suitor chosen for them.
The couples meet at the altar for the first time and are filmed for six weeks after exchanging their vows. When the time is up, the couple must decide whether they want to stay together or go their separate ways.
As the new 2023 contestants begin their respective journeys, many viewers are wondering which one Married at first sight Couples from previous seasons are still together.

Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson
Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson met during the 2022 season of the show and soon became fan favorites.
The couple is still together and recently celebrated their “TV anniversary,” giving viewers the chance to see the happy couple form a lifelong bond.
On September 5, Zoe posted on Instagram that she was celebrating and remembering her anniversary and her time on MAFS.

“Just as the Queen had two birthdays… we have two anniversaries. Firstly on April 7th and secondly on the day our wedding was broadcast and when you all saw the beginning of our journey.
“I guess we’ll get a third if we actually get married, which I just realized will cost me a fortune,” she continued. “Anyway…little story…I organized a party to watch our episode last year and there was a huge storm that knocked out the TV and we missed half the episode. A few weeks ago I realized that I had never really seen her in full, so that’s our plan tonight. A cozy evening watching ourselves on TV.”
Zoe also gave some advice to the upcoming cast of the 2023 series, saying: “Whatever your outcome, try to embrace it.”
“You could be in the middle of the best year of your life, otherwise you will learn so much about yourself if you are open to it. Happy TV anniversary, the better half of lesbians,” she added.
Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria
Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria from the 2021 season of MAFS are still together. Not only are they engaged in real life, but they’ve also expanded their family by adopting a cockatoo puppy named River together.
In April 2022, Tayah also revealed that she was pregnant and announced her first child with Adam. The Instagram post read: “The news is finally out and I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this but we’re having a baby.”
Adam and Tayah welcomed their daughter into the world on October 7, 2022 and fans were thrilled and sent their congratulations and good wishes to the couple.
Adam is a trained electrician by profession, but also works as a fitness model and takes part in competitions as a bodybuilder. Tayah, on the other hand, is a real estate agent who previously worked as a flight attendant, flying to exotic destinations around the world.
Owen Jenkins and Michelle Walder
Season 5 contestants Owen Jenkins and Michelle Walder are also going strong.
The couple married in March 2020, then spent the first lockdown together – and now their connection has lasted longer than any of the show’s previous marriages. They are based in Sheffield.
The couple recently announced that they are expecting a baby boy and shared their journey on Instagram for fans to see.
From the baby scan to the baby shower, the two have happily shared the news to keep eager fans updated.
On August 28, Michelle was seen sporting a baby bump in a post captioned, “Mum’s the Word.”
One user shared his excitement for the couple, commenting, “I’m so happy for you both! You completely restore my faith in people and ensure that you CAN find your “lobster”! Live your best life together.”
By profession, Owen is an IT manager and Michelle is a teacher.
This year’s season of Married at first sight will return on Channel 4’s E4 on Monday September 18th. The first episode starts at 9 p.m.
