[I’ve] have one more [Purge movie] Left. James [DeMonaco] has the script. It focuses on the character of Leo Barnes, and he wants to direct it. We’re working with Universal to see if we can pull this off before I’m in the nursing home.”

We didn’t want it to become an animated series. I am who I am and Tony Gilroy must be the author of it. We can’t do this for ten years. Basically, the first season lasted four years. The second will last a little less, but he has to write 12 episodes. Then we must go [into] pre-production. That usually takes six to eight months to build these places and start the whole process of designing and pouring. Then the execution is another seven [to] eight months, then post-production begins. That’s not easy either. So it’s a long journey. Each season lasts three [to] four years of my life and the life of Tony Gilroy.

It’s not possible, but you know what? It’s not because of us. It’s because of Villain One. I mean, I have to look hard enough, too Villain One. Can you imagine me pretending to be that in 10 years? [character] I was 20 years ago? Simply impossible. I mean unfortunately there are no machines or CGI that can do that.
