Now, progressives in Boston want to join New York and other nearby states in a highly taxing arms race. Massachusetts voters have the choice to block tax increases and maintain a revenue model that works.

The Bay State votes in November will give voters the option to set a 4% surcharge tax on income over $1 million, bringing the top rate from 5% to 9%. The proposal would amend the state constitution to remove the flat tax provision.
