The four remaining celebs faced three more culinary challenges in the battle for a place in the Quarterfinals.

It was Luca Bish, Michael Praed, Amy Walsh and Apl. en. Ap.

However, one famous face was stunned by the criticism he faced for his dish.

In the final round, the celebs created a dish for their imaginary food trucks.

Michael Praed’s menu option didn’t go down as well with John and Gregg as he had hoped.

Commenting on his dish, Gregg said, “It’s veggies in a flavored broth.”

“And there’s nothing wrong with that, but it doesn’t set the world on fire.”

John also commented on his creation, telling the actor, “I think your rice is really, really well cooked, I like those black cumin seeds on the outside.”

“Their Thai curry sauce shouldn’t be that sweet in my opinion, there’s way too much agave in it.

“There’s some kind of dried spice in the background, they didn’t really get it.”

“They are very, very dusty.”

Stunned by her comments, Michael hit back, telling the camera, “I felt like I made this dish the way I always cook it.”

“I’m more than happy with it.”

Unfortunately, Michael was eliminated from the competition as the remaining three all made it to the quarterfinals.

MasterChef continues on BBC One and iPlayer.

Surprised by her comments, Michael hit back and said to the camera: "I felt like I made this dish the way I always cook it"
