Matthew McConaughey voices Elvis Presley in new series

Everyone, let’s rock! Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey is voicing the new Netflix adult animated series. Agent Elvisto play the legendary singer and actor.

The action comedy was co-created and executive produced by Priscilla Presley and John Eddie. Priscilla is the late star’s ex-wife. The two were married for four years before divorcing in October 1973. The couple have one daughter together, Lisa Marie, who sadly died of cardiac arrest in January 2023 at the age of 54.

The upcoming series stars Elvis Presley as a famous performer by day and vigilante by night. Mike Arnold shares showrunner responsibilities with John Eddie, while McConaughey, Kevin Noel, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Jamie Salter, Corey Salter and Marc Rosen serve as executive producers.

When will Agent Elvis start streaming?

As of February 6, 2023, Netflix has yet to share an exact release date. However, the streamer has confirmed that the new adult animation will be released in March 2023. So it won’t be long before the series is added to the Netflix library! The company has not yet announced how many episodes to expect.

What is Matthew McConaughey’s Agent Elvis about?

The King of Rock and Roll will still do what he does best – be the iconic performer that he is. But at the same time, Elvis Presley will also work with a secret government spy program, “TCB,” to “fight the dark forces that threaten the country he loves,” according to the synopsis.
