Megan Thee Stallion took on a dual role as host and musical guest in the third episode of season 48.
Last night, rappers Megan Thee Stallion debuted on Saturday night live with a rare double appearance as host and musical guest. With Halloween around the corner, Megan Thee Stallion stepped up as a fitness instructor in the Hot Girl Workout class, determined to help her clients grow their butts to rock their sexy Halloween costumes. Perfectly written for Megan, the SNL comedy skit was full of body positivity messages.
Wearing a matching light purple training kit, Sergeant Cake (Megan Thee Stallion) appeared on screen and shook her booty. “It doesn’t matter if you dress up as a sexy witch with a fat a- or as a first responder with a fat a- or even dress up as a sexy witch Jeffrey Dahmer with a – you know what I’m going to say!” Megan exclaimed. She introduced her fellow teachers Keely and Kelly K, portrayed by Heidi Gaertner and Chloe Feinman. Not only did the two instructors have a very different style than Megan, they also had flat butts. The duo received immediate humorous reactions when the camera zoomed in on their lower backs, Megan even temporarily breaking character. Megan defended her colleagues at the gym by explaining that “not everyone has been blessed with the butt.”
One of the most memorable remarks in the entire skit was made by Megan when she referenced Uncle Ben’s iconic quote Spiderman, “Now remember, with a big a – comes big responsibility.” This SNL Sketch was written perfectly for Megan Thee Stallion as she is known for sharing body positive messages and female empowerment in her work and personality. It’s even the theme for her hit “Body.”
