Megan Thee Stallion Net Worth 2022 Revealed

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Stallion has an estimated net worth of $8 million. Stallion started writing raps since she was 14 years old.

But it wasn’t until she was in college that she started uploading her work to social media. When her video went viral on these platforms, she managed to garner a sizeable following, and people were keen to hear more from her.

In 2016 she released her first single “Like a Stallion”. Since then, the singer switched between labels and released songs at the same time. In 2019, she made her debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with the song Is it Love This Time.

Since then, the singer has come a long way and has received several awards for her work.

The rapper’s mother didn’t let her release music until she was 21

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Stallion confirmed that it was her mother who urged her to wait until she was 21 to release the songs.

She said, “I went home and told her I could rap, and she said, ‘No, you can’t.’ The singer then explained that because of the lyrics, her mother advised her to wait.

“Oh my god! No, you’re not getting out until you’re 21!” Stallion recalled her mother’s quip. When she turned 21, the rapper got the green light from her mother, who eventually became her manager.

Her mother died in 2019

Stallion and her mother, Holly Thomas, have always been close. The singer lost her mother in 2019 after her battle with a brain tumor.

The singer opened up about her death to Ebro and Nadeska in her interview for Apple Music. She said: “I really noticed that my mum drove the car for a really long time. I didn’t even have to think about too many things when Mom was with me. I feel like it just recently clicked, like, who can I ask?”

She further added, “When I’m going through something personal, I’m like, ‘I just need to pray,’ because I don’t even know who to ask. Who can I ask about this situation? And who do I trust?”

Since then, Stallion has always focused on working and making her mom proud.
