Michael Beale doesn’t want Rangers to sell an ‘elite’ midfielder

Rangers manager Michael Beale doesn’t want Ibrox club to sell Glen Kamara in the January transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones in GiveMeSport.

The well-known and respected journalist has reported that Rangers plan to keep Kamara at Ibrox beyond the January transfer window.

New Rangers manager Beale likes the former Arsenal prospect and wants him to become a key member of his team, according to Jones.

Earlier this month, The Daily Record reported that French club Nantes are looking to sign the 27-year-old and are willing to pay £27million in transfer fees for the Finnish midfielder, who Beale described as ‘elite’ in the Glasgow Evening Times will .

According to Tutto Salernitana, all clubs in La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A are keen on Kamara.

Jones said: “Rangers plan to keep Glen Kamara for the time being and from what I’ve been told don’t expect too much interest in him in January.

“Beale really likes him and would probably try to use him while he sorts things out.”

sensible attitude

In our opinion, it would make sense for Rangers to keep Glen Kamara at least until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has not had his best times this season under Giovanni van Bronckhorst but we know he is a very good midfielder who is highly rated by Beale.

In the coming weeks and months we could see the former Dundee star getting back to his best form.

The 27-year-old has made four starts and four substitutes in the Scottish Premiership and has one start and three substitutes for Rangers in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
