Millions of TV fans warned of major channel changes including BBC Three HD – check NOW to avoid missing favourite shows
MILLIONS of UK TV viewers have been warned about new changes to their channels, including BBC Three HD.
Freeview has rearranged six popular channels. So if your favorite TV station isn’t where you last found it, don’t worry.

Here are the six channels that have moved:
- Channel 5+1 moved from channel 46 to 38.
- 5CHOOSE moved from channel 56 to 46.
- GREAT! TV can now be found on channel 50 after a retune.
- Viewers who were previously able to receive the channel will see the old copy of GREAT! TV switches to channel 792.
- BBC Three HD has moved from channel 109 to 107 in England and Northern Ireland.
- The HD channel is not carried on Freeview channels in Wales and Scotland.
- TV together can be found on channel 83 after a retune.
- However, the channel is now available to stream online.
- Together TV+1 moved from channel 92 to 90.
BBC Three HD – which will present live coverage of Glastonbury this weekend – has moved to channel 107 – the slot used by BBC News HD until it was removed from Freeview a year ago.
Changes were made to almost 20 Freeview channels this week.
It’s part of the channel’s effort to clean up channels and fill gaps in the streaming space.
After the rearrangement, most of the gaps in the channels were closed.
Here is a list of other channels that have moved:
- Vision TV – changes from channel 264 to 261.
- Arise News – changes from channel 269 to 262.
- fail army changes from channel 274 to 264.
- Pet Collective – changes from channel 278 to 266.
- Al Jazeera English (streaming version) – changes from channel 285 to 267.
- Al Jazeera Arabic – changes from channel 286 to 268.
- WION news – changes from channel 287 to 269.
- Real Crime – changes from channel 288 to 270.
- Asharq News – is currently duplicated on channels 272 and 274.
- Al Arabiya – is currently duplicated on channels 273 and 275.
