MLB Playoffs 2022: Philadelphia Phillies defeat Atlanta Braves, take 1-0 lead in NLDS series

ATLANTA (WPVI) — The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Atlanta Braves 7-6 in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

Philadelphia leads the series 1-0.

Game 2 begins Wednesday at 4:35 p.m. with Zach Wheeler on the mound.

This is the first postseason run for the Phillies since 2011.

While tickets for the home games scheduled at Citizens Bank Park on Friday and Saturday are currently sold out, a limited number of additional seats may become available, according to the Phillies website.
