But the fight that tipped the scales at Oktagon 45 in Prague ended in painful disaster after just a minute.

After a hard exchange of blows, Keita stood up but immediately began limping on one leg.

The referee quickly intervened and waved off the fight, much to the shock of fans in the crowded arena.

A devastated Keita, still limping on one leg, apologized to the crowd but quickly turned his attention to his partner.

The fighter touched a knee and asked, “Will you marry me?”

Disappointment at the end of the fight soon turned to elation as she replied “yes” and gave Keita a kiss.

The European believes he sustained the injury after being kicked and suspects it is broken.

And Keita quickly called for a rematch, adding: “The story isn’t over yet. I felt great, I felt my distance.”

“I hope he gives me a chance to fight him again because after this fight there isn’t a bigger fight in the octagon.”

“I think there has to be a rematch. I don’t think he’s happy with that ending.”

“I have a lot of respect for him, but I don’t feel like he beat me. I felt good and I hope he can give me a rematch.”
