In the clip, the man can be heard muttering to himself before throwing the dairy product over the group of six.

He called the activists “fucking thugs” for slowing down motorists by slowly marching in the middle of the street.

They wore bright orange safety vests and carried signs calling for an end to oil and gas exploration.

The man walked around the crowd, dousing them with milk and ending with the woman appearing to be leading the march.

Then he threw the empty plastic milk carton at her.

Commentators on social media were divided: some criticized Just Stop Oil’s tactics, others said the man overreacted.

One tweeted: “Just hold up the Hammersmith oil protest and we’ll be stuck on a bus while I try to take my child to daycare after an appointment.”

But another snapped: “I can’t condone this. That’s assault, especially if you throw the empty milk carton on the girl’s head.”

This comes after the organization suspended play at Lord’s on the second day of the Ashes Test.

England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow was seen carrying one of the protesters off the pitch.

A similar scene happened with Tom Curry when the group ran onto the Twickenham lawn during the Gallagher Premiership final in May.

The Sun revealed that one of those taking part in the Ashes demonstration is the son of a millionaire who lives in a £6million mansion.

All three activists were arrested on suspicion of serious trespassing.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police confirmed the horrendous sum spent dealing with the “disruptive protests” at taxpayer expense.
