Morgan Wallen Health Update, announces return to the stage

“I wouldn’t say I’m 100% but I’m doing a lot better,” the country music star shared after taking more than a week off from touring.
Morgan Wallen is back on stage after a much needed vocal rest.
The 29-year-old country singer took to Instagram to share a health update with fans after taking more than a week off his tour. On April 23, fans were disappointed when Wallen announced the show would be canceled just minutes before his expected performance.
Ahead of his return on Thursday night, the “Last Night” musician updated fans in a video message.
“What’s up, folks? I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m in Jacksonville, we’re going to be playing a show tonight – and all weekend. I wouldn’t say I’m 100% but I’m doing much better. ‘ Wallen explained at the venue.

“And I just wanted to say again to everyone at Oxford how sorry it went. I thought I was going to be fine and I just wasn’t,” he confessed, before announcing he was planning to do so on an alternate date. “We’re working on a new date – we’re close to a new date, I just don’t have the exact date yet. As soon as I have it, I’ll let you know.”
“I appreciate you all and I can’t wait to get on stage tonight,” the country music star concluded. “Love you all, thanks for all the support. God bless you – see you soon.”
By April, all three of Morgan’s opening acts had finished their sets when a message appeared on screens at the stadium.
“Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately Morgan has lost his voice and is unable to perform tonight. Therefore tonight’s show has been cancelled. Please make your way safely to the stadium exits,” it said. “Refunds for tonight’s event are available at the point of purchase.”

The following night, Wallen announced on his Instagram Story that the next three shows in Michigan, Illinois and Nebraska would be canceled due to health reasons.
“You all know how important my fans are to me, so I feel terrible about this news,” he said at the time. “I don’t want to do anything but get on stage and play for you guys. But as of today, I have doctor-mandated vocal rest and we have to reschedule the shows for this week.”
“I appreciate and understand everything you do to get to my shows, so it would be unfair of me to put on a show that I know won’t be 100%. I’m doing everything I can to speed up the process of getting to that 100 percent mark.”
The three shows have been rescheduled to June 27, September 8 and September 9. “All original tickets will be honored for the new dates,” Wallen concluded.
