Warzone Pacific Season 4 is here and the meta has shifted yet again, with a massive array of weapons viable in Caldera and Fortune’s Keep. Here are the ten most popular weapons in Warzone as of June 26th.
Despite the massive supply of weapons, few weapons see consistent play across Warzone as the meta changes. We’ve seen various weapons rise and fall such as Grau, Bruen, FFAR, MP40 and more.
Warzone Season 4 is now down and weapon balancing has been an important part of the update. A number of weapons have been polished, like the NZ-41, while the Vanguard favorite, the Cooper Carbine, has been toned down.
Regardless of weapon trajectories and meta shifts, WZRanked’s primary weapon tracker means we’ve collected the top ten most popular weapon picks in Warzone. You can also track your progress on MyStats, the place for all your Warzone stats.
Warzone Weapons Ranking: Top 10
Best M4A1 Loadout
A true veteran of Warzone since the launch of the battle royale, the Modern Warfare M4A1 dominated the early seasons of MW 2019’s life cycle.
It’s back in Season 4 for the first time in a while, and players are realizing that its high rate of fire and decent range make it a solid, if unspectacular, option.
Best Kar98k Loadout
When it comes to the most popular weapons in Warzone, no weapon holds the top spot longer than the Kar98k. The MW Sniper was ever-present from Vanguard’s launch through Season 2, when a major sniper nerf saw him fall away as he lost his one-hit abilities.
Regardless, it’s back in the top 10 in Season 4 thanks to its speed, handling, and cheap recoil.
8. kilos 141
Best Kilo 141 Loadout
The Modern Warfare assault rifle has been on this list for a while. While its damage and rate of fire aren’t among the best weapons in battle royale, its nonexistent recoil makes it incredibly easy to use and ideal for medium to longer ranges.
With so many meta-shaking changes coming in Season 4, it’s no surprise that many players are returning to reliable weapons like this one.
Best HDR loadout
The Modern Warfare sniper fell out of favor fairly early in Warzone’s life cycle, and fans quickly discovered that the Swiss K31 and Kar98k hit just as hard and were much faster and more forgiving.
Especially after Season 3, the HDR maintained its one-hit abilities at pretty much any range – an ability unmatched by most other snipers. As players get used to the slower ADS and handling, it could continue to climb and cement a spot in the top three.
6. Cooper carabiner
Best Cooper Carbine Loadout
For the first time ever, the Cooper Carbine made it to the top of the most popular gun list in Season 2. It wasn’t to last, however, and quickly slipped back down to sixth place as players returned to the MP40 after the nerfs proved weaker than initially feared.
The Cooper Carbine’s true strength lies in its rate of fire, as it dispenses with bullets at breathtaking speed. In Season 4, however, the already volatile recoil was reduced so it could be even further away.
5. H4 Blixen
Best H4 Blixen Loadout
The H4 Blixen’s popularity has exploded since its addition with Season 3 Reloaded. Many commenters have highlighted it as one of the best SMGs Warzone has ever had, but Raven quickly nerfed it.
While it hasn’t really impacted his pick rate yet, we could see Blixes dropping in favor of weapons that have recently been boosted.
Best MP40 Loadout
As players became accustomed to Vanguard weaponry and Caldera, the MP40 established a dominance on the Pacific map not seen since the days of the Grays and Bruens. It fell away after its nerfs in Season 2, but has proven surprisingly resilient, staying in the top three through Season 3.
His pick rate is still very low compared to his previous high of over 15%, but players seem to be starting to trust his weakened version.
3. Marco 5
Best Marco 5 loadout
The Marco 5 dropped with Season 4 and has exploded into the meta in a way only reminiscent of the H4 Blixen above. It can be dual-wielded, making it twice as frightening, as well as possessing a high rate of fire and the strong mobility that only the best SMGs possess.
Whether Raven wants to nerf his progress is another question, but right now there’s no better close-range option.
Best STG-44 Loadout
The STG-44 quickly rose to the gold medal spot after Vanguard’s integration, and players flocked to it for its high damage and impressive range. However, it was nerfed quite heavily in Season 1 as it was dropped from this list.
It returned in Season 3 and remains in Season 4 as many weapons that skipped it saw nerfs. It’s still incredibly strong at mid-range, but we expect it to wane as this season progresses.
Best NZ-41 Loadout
Much like the H4 Blixen, the NZ-41 has become one of the BR’s most popular weapons in Season 3. However, it hasn’t slowed down like its Season 3 counterpart, with buffs and nerfs ensuring it emerges as one of the very best weapons in the game – debuting at second place on this list and now making its way to first .
Its high damage, impressive rate of fire, and lack of recoil mean it has no discernible downsides. In the hands of talented players, it will outperform almost any other weapon. However, we expect Raven to weaken it fairly quickly.
