Police say multiple people have been shot in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA — According to police, multiple people were shot in Philadelphia on Monday night.
A spokesperson for the Philadelphia Police Department told the Associated Press there were “multiple shooting victims” but said there was no other immediate information on their status.
Police spokesman Miguel Torres told CNN that a suspect is in custody and a weapon has been recovered.
Police spokeswoman Jasmine Reilly told the network that six victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and two were taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
