In a video In the post she posted on TikTok, Kayleigh showed how she uses a pump to inflate an inflatable travel footrest that fits perfectly in the gap between her seat and the front seat.

This allowed her little daughter to fully stretch out and lie down during the flight.

Kayleigh said, “If you’re flying with your toddler, this is for you.”

“We bought this inflatable pillow from Amazon. It comes with a pump and fills the space between your seat and the tray table in front of you.”

“By allowing your toddler to stretch out during naps or just lounging, it’s game-changing.”

The video has been viewed more than 4.8 million times and left a deep impression on many people.

One person wrote, “Don’t bother with a toddler, I need that for myself.”

The inflatable air bed is available from Amazon for as little as £15.29.

Although it’s been described as “groundbreaking,” there’s a catch: many airlines don’t allow in-flight use of the inflatable footrest.

A disadvantage picked up by several users in the comments.

A flight attendant added: “While this is legal, most airlines advise you to leave it in the window seat in an emergency.”

“For my airline, it would not be allowed in the exit row either. Maybe other airlines are different, but we usually have similar protocols.”

Meanwhile, other users named the airlines that allow the use of the product and which don’t.

British Airways, United and Qantas are among the airlines that do not allow the use of inflatable footrests.

For those parents who don’t want to take the risk, Flyaway, a brand that sells inflatable beds, has cataloged the airlines that accept them.

They claim that those airlines include easyJet, Jet2 and KLM.

Meanwhile, another mum has praised the groundbreaking household item that makes traveling with young children a breeze.

Amy shared her top travel tip after taking a long haul flight with a toddler.

She said: “We had an amazing flight after purchasing a dog bed for my son to sleep on.”

“We draped it over the seats while he slept between us and he loved it.”
