One mum thinks she may have found the solution, but it would mean going to the same hotel two years later – and she wasn’t convinced.

The forward-thinking holiday planner turned to Mumsnet for advice.

She wrote: “Last year we found a place that ticked all the boxes, it was affordable, close to a beautiful large beach, good food, clean hotel with multiple pools, splash pool for the younger ones, lane pool for me, decent low – entertainment and sports bar for the teenager.

“I was surprised how nice it was because I had never been on an all inclusive vacation.

“The problem is that now I just can’t find a place that looks as good, especially for the money, so I’m torn between booking the same place or taking a risk somewhere else.”

The mother’s dilemma divided users in the comments because some were in favor of “repeated” holidays while others weren’t.

One wrote: “We are going to Crete and booked the same hotel for the fourth time.

“Although we’ve been to other places, we don’t like them that much and feel it’s a bit of a waste.”

Another added: “We’ve stayed in the same hotel in Turkey twice in a row and I’d love to go next year too.”

However, other users gave other advice, including those who would not return to the same hotel.

One person wrote: “We only visit twice usually, same ‘country’ but different accommodation.”

Someone else added: “Never, there’s a whole world out there, every visit to the same place is a new place not discovered.”

A third wrote: “It has to be a new place every time.”

Meanwhile, another mother also shared opinions after she claimed a screaming child ruined her vacation.

Another woman was branded as selfish after booking a holiday for her boyfriend as a gift.
