The 25-year-old Briton was on the ship HMS Albion this month until May 11, which was engaged in a defense exercise.

According to the Swedish publication, he spent a night with a British comrade in Stockholm before ending up in a house in Solna along with several Swedes quickdraws.

A Defense Ministry spokesman said: “We are aware of an incident in Stockholm and we are supporting the local authorities in their investigation.”

“It would be inappropriate to make any further comments.”

Swedish police have arrested four people as part of their murder investigation, including the British soldier he was traveling with.

Three Swedish citizens, all in their 20s and 30s, were also arrested.

The Swedish authorities have not yet released any further details.
