Christine (@dutchworld_americangirl) shared the story with over 500,000 followers on TikTok.

“My parents live in Iowa and my dad used to own an antique store many years ago,” she began.

“He drives and deals all the time, sells real estate and buys stuff for my mom and me.”

She explained that for Christmas one year, her father gave her and her mother David Yurman real gold and diamond bracelets set in 95 sterling silver.

The next gift, also from a real estate sale, was a pair of earrings with a total of 46 stones.

Christine shared that her initial reaction was that the stones had to be a cheaper material, until they took a closer look.

“I used to work with diamonds, my uncle and I looked at these and we were like, oh my gosh, I think these are real diamonds,” she said.

“I went to the jeweler today and we checked them out.”

“They look at these diamonds and they go crazy… the ladies at the store say they think they’re worth between $8 and $10,000,” she said.

She revealed that her dad spent $150 on the gift.

People have taken to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“What a wonderful gift, diamond or not,” one person commented.

“The earrings are beautiful.”

“I’m so happy for you, your father really knows how to pamper his daughter, I really like it!” another said.

She revealed the earrings are real diamonds worth about 10,000 USD
