A NUTRITIONIST shared her favorite protein transitions from Trader Joe’s.
She recommends quick and easy dishes for the “lazy girl” who doesn’t have time.
Lauren (@sororitynutritionist), a nutritionist, shared her favorite dishes from the grocery chain in a video that has more than 300,000 followers on TikTok.
“If you don’t have time to cook or don’t have a stove, these are great, they’re pre-seasoned and are chicken breasts!” she speaks.
She holds up Trader Joe’s Balsamic Vinegar Grilled Chicken, Turkish burgers, Salmon burgers, and Mahi Mahi burgers.
“Trader Joe’s has the best burger game,” she said.
As for the non-freezing options, she shared a tip that she herself uses regularly.
“I also make this salmon in my air fryer with any kind of sauce, typically teriyaki sauce or Korean barbecue sauce,” she says, picking up some Atlantic Salmon.
“You can also make chicken sausage, any flavor, in an air fryer for quick protein on the go.”
For snacks, she recommends low-fat cheese: “This cheesecake with toast and fruit is amazing,” she says.
Last but not least are some easy-to-carry snacks.
“These hard-boiled eggs and protein bars contain 20 grams per serving,” she says, holding up the Caramel Cashew Barebells protein bar.
